Physics Wallah Joins Hands With Xylem Learning to Invest Rs 500 Crore

Physics Wallah (PW), an edtech unicorn with a strong focus on the southern region, has forged a strategic alliance with Kerala-based Xylem Learning. In accordance with the agreement, the corporation will invest Rs 500 crore over a three-year period in order to expand its presence in the south.

“We will invest Rs 500 crore over the next three years to spread the daring and distinctive Xylem hybrid learning model to other neighbouring sister states. Strong team building, content creation, technical innovation, expansion into more categories, and hybrid centres will all be necessary to achieve this. Alakh Pandey, the founder and CEO of PW, said, “We will also look at M&As (merger and acquisitions) in the south.

Dr. Ananthu S, a 26-year-old MBBS graduate, founded the test preparation company Xylem Learning, which helps students get ready for the NEET and JEE exams. Over three million students, according to the firm, can access free NEET/JEE exam preparation lessons on YouTube.
Additionally, it has 30,000 students enrolled in its hybrid centres spread across Kerala’s five most prestigious districts and more than 1 lakh paying students enrolled in its different online courses. The collaboration with PW comes as the business prepares to invest heavily in its expansion into Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and other southern markets.

“We aim to achieve Rs 300 crore revenue with 25% ebitda in FY24, up from Rs 150 crore in FY23,” stated Ananthu S.
